Scholarship Application Workshop
Barbara Cochrane, Director of the de Tornyay Center, will discuss her experience with the development and review of student applications for de Tornyay Center Healthy Aging Research Scholarships, UWRA Scholarships/Fellowships, and Hartford Geriatric Fellowships. This will be an excellent opportunity for students to ask questions about compelling ways to write about a gerontology-related research idea for funding. Every year the de Tornyay Center is honored to offer Healthy Aging Scholarships to support and nurture students pursuing research in the field of gerontology. These scholarships provide unrestricted funds for UW BSN, MN and doctoral (both DNP and PhD) students. We encourage students from the Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma campuses to apply.
