Teaching Assistant Position(s) (50% FTE) Summer Quarter 2012
Provide support for NMETH 520 Scholarly Inquiry for Nursing Practice (5 credits). Analyzes conceptual, theoretical, and empirical knowledge as a basis for evience-based practice. Examines methodological approaches to scholarly inquiry and research applied to nursing practice. Evaluates role of advanced practice nurses in research. This is an online course.
Roles and Responsibilities of the TA (or RA or SA) include:
- Course record-keeping
- Moodle and E-Reserve course web site and other distance technology maintenance and support
- Grading quizzes and other class assignments
- Support of other course activities (e.g., communications with faculty and students, participation in discussion forums, perform literature searches, identify/develop course material)
- Help students, as necessary, with course work and assignments
- Other duties assigned when needed
